Happy Valentines day all!
We got bombarded by snow, around 12-13 inches. We're used to some snow, but not this much. Of course, heaven forbid work is canceled. Today was horrible getting here, thank goodness we have a 4 wheel drive truck. I drove my little car home in this mess, and almost didn't make it. The snow drifts are terrible, some of them close to 4 feet. The sun is out today, so at least it's not snowing. Really cold temps. are coming though, that is almost as bad as the snow. There are a bunch of people that couldn't make it in, including our boss! I thought the least he could do is cancel work for all of us, but no way. Oh well, that's the way it goes I guess.
Still no luck with the job for D, but he is starting to feel better. The test he had last Thursday showed nothing bad, and he goes back for another test to see if there is any bleeding in his stomach. I don't know what will be next if they find nothing wrong there, hopefully just iron pills to raise his red blood cells.
Our basement is water free, and all dried out. The dumpster is still in our driveway, D called them yesterday to remind them to come and get it. We really need the parking space, especially with the snow. They said they thought it had been picked up, but unless we are imagining a big red dumpster taking up half of our driveway, it's still there.
Our youngest daughter goes to see the sleep specialist to see if they can figure out why she can't sleep through the night. Hopefully they will be able to come up with an answer.
Not much else happening here in the snow bank, so I guess I am finished for now. Take care all!
Thanks for reading.

Hi Sandy,
I'm sure all that snow must be miserable! I would just hate it. I'm still keeping you and D and the kids in my prayers, I hope everything will fall into place for you soon. Try to keep positive and have faith that something wonderful is going to happen and as always, if I can help in any way please let me know!
Thanks Hope. I REALLY appreciate you and your notes.
The helping goes for me as well, Sandy. Both of us are going through a lot as of late but I know we are strong women and can handle it (we may feel like we are going insane!). Hugs to you and you can keep the snow down in Indiana, we don't want it in Michigan!
Hey Sandy. WOW I remember all the snow. I am from Wisconsin (and Minnesota) so I know all about going to work in the cold and the snow. Snow is just not an excuse for them there. Now I am in NC and they close EVERYTHING down at the first flake, I love it. Something weird though, everyone races to the store to get some bread and milk, I don't get it but they do it, you would think they would be getting soup and stuff like that but NOOOOOOO bread and milk is what you cannot find here.
I will be praying for you and your family, especially your husband. I hope he is feeling much better.
Take care of yourself.
Sandy, this is a wonderful blog! They say that writing is theraputic, I know that I find it to be. You and D have my prayers. Lynne
Hi Sandy, you can send some of that snow here to me in Texas...I kind of miss it.
I have a feeling I should duck after saying that Hahaha I'm sure you are sick of it.
I'm glad to hear his last test turned out ok, I will keep you all in my prayers.
