Happy Tuesday Y'all

Not much happening right now. Still no job for D. The recruiters are working, there just isn't too much out there they say. So, all we can do it keep looking, praying, and waiting! He's coughing like crazy, and it is so getting on my nerves. He has a really loud cough, it sounds like he's going to cough up a lung. I know he can't help it, so I don't say anything. On the up side of him being so sick for so long, he has lost 35lbs. That was greatly needed. He has been living in sweat pants since he has been sick, and when he took our daughter to the concert he put on his jeans, and they are so baggy! That made him feel better. Thank goodness he has kept all of his smaller clothes, so he doesn't need to go out and buy any new dress clothes for work, (or interviews). That has inspired me to get back on my diet, so I started Saturday. I wish I had the same will power as our oldest daughter. She is a size 2! She also struggled with anorexia for a couple of years, which was horrible. She got down to 79 lbs., but now is a very healthy 105! I think it is just terrible seeing all of the young girls/women on TV and in magazines that are so thin they look sick. Nicole Richie, Lyndsey Lohan, the Olsen twins. What is wrong with some curves! Men don't like girls that they are afraid to touch because they might break. But you can't convince them of that. It is indeed an illness, and a hard one to overcome.
Any American Idol fans out there? I love that show. It starts tonight, but I don't care much for the first few shows, until they get to Hollywood. I get tired of seeing all the stupid people that really think they can sing. I know some do it just for the hopes of being on television, but some of these people honestly think they can sing. Well, off to get my yogurt out of the fridge, I forgot to have it this morning for breakfast, and lunch is about an hour and a half away, and I'm hungry! Take care, and have a great day!

Welcome back, I was beginning to wonder if you had forgotten about us. Hope everything works it self out soon.

Hi Sandy!

Good for D. But doesn't it kill you that men get sick for a few days and lose all this weight and we can get sick too and don't lose a thing! How frustrating!

I'll keep the prayers going for a job, I know it is weighing on both you heavily. Being out of work is so hard, not only on the person, but the whole family.

Take care and write when you have a chance!

Hugs to you and D. Well, not so much D since he did lose all that weight, I agree with Hope, that's just not right! My prayers are with you and your family.
